Dino Nestkeepers
Small eggs. A whole world to hatch.
A dinosaur matching game with a little rescue mission
Match dinosaur eggs, fill their nests, and hatch baby dinosaurs in this free online dinosaur game from PuzzleTen. Dino Nestkeepers combines quick sorting with a collection of friendly prehistoric creatures. No download or account is needed.
How to play
- Drag a falling egg to the nest with the same color and symbol. You can also tap an egg, then tap its nest. Your first visit starts with one practice egg and no pressure.
- Rescue three matching eggs to hatch that dinosaur. Its nest progress resets, ready for another hatch.
- You start with three lives. A wrong nest or a missed egg costs one life. Releasing over empty space resumes the egg’s fall; cancelling a drag does not directly cost a life.
- Keep rescuing eggs as the pace gently increases. A fourth nest opens after three hatches and a fifth after six. New species only appear after their nests are ready.
Hatch, collect, and beat your best
Each correct egg earns 10 points. From the third consecutive correct match onward, each match earns 15 points. A hatch adds another 50 points. Wrong or missed eggs reset your streak. Your score and nest progress restart with each round; your best score and discovered species stay in this browser when storage is available.
Dinosaur species you can discover
- T-Rex: green eggs with spots, a big head, and little arms.
- Brachiosaurus: blue eggs with waves and a long-necked dinosaur.
- Triceratops: earthy gold eggs with triangles and a horned face.
- Stegosaurus: purple eggs with diamonds; unlock its plated silhouette after three hatches in a round.
- Ankylosaurus: peach eggs with crosses; unlock this armored dinosaur after six hatches in a round.
Hatch a species to discover it in your collection. A discovery stays saved, while nest unlocks start fresh each round. The colors and patterns are playful matching clues, not claims about real dinosaur eggs.
Controls and comfortable play
Play with a mouse or touch. Keyboard players can Tab to an egg and press Enter or Space to select it, then press 1–5 to choose a nest from left to right, row by row. Tab and Enter also work on the nests. The selected egg pauses while other eggs keep falling. Use Pause to stop the whole round.
Opening your collection or replaying the tutorial pauses your round. Switching away or resizing the board also pauses it until you choose Resume. Sound can be muted using the Sound button. Effects respect reduced-motion settings, and matching uses symbols as well as colors. This dinosaur game for kids and adults has no timer to beat, but eggs move faster as you hatch more dinosaurs.
